Anti Terrorism Level 1:
The duties of anti-terrorism level 1:
Due to increases in terrorism cases, the US government is doing what it can to make sure that cases of terrorism are eliminated, or at least decreased wherever possible. The US government started the anti-terrorism level 1 legislation in an effort to combat terrorism. Most of this is done by examining civilian communications and transmissions. The US government inspects information that it stores in its information systems (IS). The information stored within the IS is susceptible to observation, search, interception, and can be used by the US government for any authorized objectives. In order to monitor the procedures correctly, anti-terrorism level 1 includes safety steps that protect the US government’s interests. Government agencies use regular security measures that can be modified according to the threats they face. However, the government doesn’t approve of LE, PM, or of CI investigative observation or tracking services of clergy, attorneys or psychotherapists. Anti-terrorism level 1 works on a much bigger scale, as it concentrates on safeguarding the entire country from terrorist acts including mass destruction.
American laws make it possible to intercept and stop or prevent any terrorist acts as part of the Patriot Act of 2001. The act classifies terrorism as any actions that include attacks or other actions that could cause harm to human life. A terrorist act can be considered any action that appears to endanger the lives of a civilian populace, or affect a government’s plans through threats of mass destruction, kidnapping, homicide or the like. Anti-terrorism level 1 was implemented to keep all these harmful measures from occurring.
Moreover, Anti-terrorism level 1 is designed to apply to both nationwide and global terrorism threats, since such threats can endanger areas outside or inside the country, and still affect the United States’ national interests. Anyone that funds or facilitates a terrorist or terrorist group can also be seen as a terrorist by the United States government, and may be dealt with in exactly the same way.
A lot of people take issue with Terrorism laws like this. There are instances in the past where anti-terror laws have been taken advantage of by tyrannical rulers due to the reality that it gives a lot of power to certain people. Since rules can be interpreted in a number of different ways, it makes it much more likely for those powers to be mistreated by the individuals who carry it out. Laws can be used to accuse innocent individuals if they are used improperly. If this happens to you, contact an attorney who is experienced in handling terrorism cases.
The department of Homeland Security identified some events that occurred in the year 2012 as indicators of terrorism. A number of people and groups include the restriction of independence, the politicizing religion and ideologies as acts of terrorism that must not be allowed to occur.
Since the Patriot Act was passed, cases of terrorism have reduced. Individuals who are found guilty of terrorist acts are penalized heavily so they can be an example to others. The federal government has started training businesses and professional bodies to assist in reporting and preventing terrorism as it may happen within the country. In case there are any allegations of terrorist activities, anti-terrorism level 1 and other anti-terrorism groups investigate in order to help stop every instance before it gets unmanageable.
